About The Author

Michael Card is a popular Christian songwriter, recording artist, and author. Anyone who is familiar with Card's music has relished his ability to weave a story with word and melody. Michael holds undergraduate and master's degrees in Biblical Studies from Western Kentucky University. He has penned some of Christian music's most cherished songs, including "El-Shaddai." He has released twenty recordings and has authored or co-authored nine books, including The Parable of Joy, Joy in the Journey, Unveiled Hope, and the bestseller A Violent Grace. Michael and his wife, Susan, have four children and live in Franklin, Tennessee.
