About The Author

Phil A. Smouse wanted to be a scientist. But scientists don't get wonderful letters and pictures from boys and girls all over the world. So Phil decided to draw and color instead.

An accomplished author, illustrator, animator, and graphic artist, Phil has written and illustrated over forty books for children and adults, including Jesus Wants All of Me, the award-winning, million-plus-selling adaptation of Oswald Chambers's classic daily devotional, My Utmost for His Highest.

Phil and his wife, Annette, live in southwestern Pennsylvania. They have two amazing children and one beautiful granddaughter they love with all their hearts.

Ela Jarzabek (Elzbieta Jarzabek) lives in Katowice, Poland. She is single and loves her work.

From an early age, Ela loved to draw and paint. When she was just a few years old and did not even know how to write, she added her own drawings to her already illustrated fairy tale books. Soon she was creating her own stories with animals and princesses.

Several years ago Ela graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków as a graphic designer and painter. She now works as a freelance illustrator . . . and still loves to paint animals, princesses, and many other things as well.
